With the development of superconducting technology, superconducting magnet is applied in scientific research and industrial production more widely. Also, the need for cryogenic system with high capacity is increasing. The materials of large superconducting magnets are mostly composed of NbTi and Nb3Sn, with a critical temperature of 9.2 K and 18 K separately. To maintain the superconducting magnets in superconducting state, their temperature must be below the critical temperature. In the process of helium liquefaction, helium is cooled to a temperature below its critical temperature and then throttled to be liquid for storage or use. It is only the helium that can be used as a refrigerant at such a low temperature. Helium refrigerator/liquefier is mainly composed of compressor, water cooler, oil filter, adsorber, heat exchanger, expander, connection piping and valves, measurement and control system, etc..
