On March 23, 2017, Liupanshui City organized a meeting to promote the healthy development of the coal industry. Before the meeting, Liupanshui Party Secretary Zhou Rong, Mayor Li Gang and other relevant departments leaders visited the Panxian Shanjiaoshu methane gas purification for LNG demonstration project. They inquired and examined the progress of the project construction and equipment operation, and instructd the Panjiang Coalbed Methane Company to summary and promote good experience through the project practice, leading the whole province's coalbed methane development and utilization.
The Shanjiaoshu methane gas purification for LNG demonstration project is invested and constructed by Guizhou Panjiang Coalbed Methane Development and Utilization Co., Ltd. The factory covers an area of 30 mu with a total investment of 50 million yuan. Its construction scale is 100,000 NM3 / d methane gas and 30,000 NM3 / d LNG products. The project started in January 2016 and was put into operation in September. The project employed the patented technology of liquefaction and separation of the oxygen-bearing coalbed methane for LNG by the Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The methane in the gas is separated and liquefied into LNG products.
The Cryosys Energy Technology Corp. participated in the whole project construction, designing and manufacturing the modular skid equipment. The skid equipment is compact and easy to transport, which makes it convenient to reach the remote mountainous areas project site of coalbed methane, shale gas, wellhead gas and oil field gas. The skid equipment can be manufactured and integrated in the factory and then transported to the project site for a whole installation, which shortens the construction period. Also, it makes the whole plant equipment layout more compact and the equipment operation, control, maintenance and management more convenient. Different skid equipment are connected through the flanges and pipes, which makes it easy to disassemble and move out of the project site after the completion of exploit.
The skid equipment designed and manufactured by our company arrived at the project site in May 2016 and finished installation in half a month. In December, the whole plant started to test and got a success at the first time, and qualified LNG product was produced. Through test of continuous operation, it shows that the factory liquefaction device performance is stable and reliable, the process is reasonable and the manual operation is convenient, which all meet the industrial production requirements.
