Improving the effective utilization rate of low carbon hydrocarbon resources is a new research direction in petrochemical industry, low temperature separation technology is necessary in all kinds of low carbon hydrocarbon utilization. According to the physical properties of complex gas, low temperature liquefaction and separation technology is applied to achieve pure gas. It has been proved successful in aromatization, propane dehydrogenation, isobutene dehydrogenation andFCC dry gasutilization projects.
Since a complex component after aromatization reaction, a stable absorption method with large amounts of steam consumption was applied in traditional separation process. An independent cryogenic separation technology for multi component gas was used in separation of aromatization reaction gas by our team. It features the advantages of high purity, simple process and low energy consumption. It has been proved successful in XinJiang Kangjia (4 MT/year low carbon hydrocarbon aromatization) project and WuHan Kaishun (2 MT/year low carbon hydrocarbon aromatization)project.
Typical Case
Wuhan Kaishun petrochemical technology co., LTD invested a 200000 tons/year liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) aromatization project in chemical industrial park, Wuhan city, Hubei province. The first stage investment is 803.5 million yuan. With petroleum by-products C4 LPG as raw materials, its main products includes light aromatics, benzene, toluene and xylene. It can produce 100000 tons/year LPG after etherification and 102000 tons/year LPG after aromatization. The separation plant consists of compression, desulfurization, dehydration, liquefaction, separation and refrigerant storage and distribution etc. It has been operating stable with excellent performance since put into operation.
